This is the fourteenth everest marathon November 2011. The Everest Marathon is listed in the Guinness book as the highest Marathon in the world. The start line is at Gorak Shep 5184m close to the everest base camp. The finish is at Hotel Sherpaland, Namche Bazar 3446m and the course is measured 42km. The race a non profit making venture organised by Bufo Ventures ltd with all profit put in everest marathon fund a Uk registered charity so far has rised to support health and educational function in rural areas of Nepal.
